Microsoft Office 2013 (also called Office 2013 and Office 15) is the upcoming version of the Microsoft Office productivity suite for Microsoft Windows, and the successor to Microsoft Office 2010. Office 2013 includes extended file format support, user interface updates, and support for touch. Office 2013 is also available for Windows RT as well as IA-32 and X86-64, and requires Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 or later (hence cannot be installed on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 or other earlier versions).

Office 2013 is more "cloud-based" than previous versions. This is notable as the default save location is the user's SkyDrive. Also, Microsoft is hoping that users will get Office 2013 through Office 365.

Windows 8 is a planned release of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems being produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablets, and home theater PCs. The release to manufacturing (RTM) occurred August 1, 2012 and Windows 8 will be available to users starting October 26, 2012.
